I absolutely LOVE this store. They always have a large selection of the items I'm looking for! They are very knowledgeable. And they actually took the time to help me understand how to use my new vape. I miss the Fort O spot, but I don't mind driving for good service. Keep up the good work!

Poor and combative customer service. Perhaps they feel authoritative and abusive to customers because they have a large inventory but no matter and not resolvable in this day and time. Unless the owner is present the abuse is prevalent each and every time I have shopped. Plenty of other spots to go to for sure and several with far more to offer including a craft brew or a crafted cappuccino and you’ll be treated respectfully guaranteed. As for me….I will be spending my hard earned dollars where respect is paramount first and second is the inventory as there are plenty of other choices to shop from: the new spot of Manufacture Road in the North Shore as an example. Perhaps the owner wants the employees to curb purchasing due to monetary issues by this method and I say that works for sure. Not cool in 2024 … not be any meausure. EVERYONE IS WATCHING EXPENSES THOUGHTFULLY THESE DAYS.

First time visit, right before they were about to close, my normal spot was already closed so I gave them a chance. Glad I did, flower was dank and customer service was friendly, welcoming and efficient. Gentleman that had dreads was greeting and friendly, younger girl that helped me out was also friendly and knowledgeable, loved the flower, price was a little higher then my normal spot, but overall I'd definitely recommed this place, thier products and customer service. I left this review because I read the previous reviews of some entitled Karen's before I visited and was reluctant to give grass roots a try but they earned my business. To the owner, respect for standing up for your team, I deal with Karen's on the regular and appreciate your not cowering.

My experience here is usually always very pleasant but my visit today, not so much. I walked in and immediately got what I came for and left it behind the counter until I was ready to checkout because I wanted to take a look around and there was a lady that kindly allowed me to do that in peace. The Black gentleman with the dreads walked over as I was pricing their CBD products and asked if there was anything I wanted to look at, I politely told him “Not today, just looking but thank you” but he hovered over me the entire time I was looking anyway and appeared annoyed when I did actually have a question. I eventually just walked off to another section of the store because having him hover over me as I shopped was incredibly uncomfortable. After briefly looking around, I went to check out my items and before leaving I checked out their THC-a menu on the wall. He asks if I’d like to check some out and I said not now, but I’ll probably be back later this week. A few moments passed as I continued to read the menu, he then proceeds to say “You could just take a picture of it” as if me simply reading the menu was a problem. I politely told him that wouldn’t be necessary, as I am j u s t l o o k i n g. I have literally never not been able to shop in peace here. It honestly felt as if I was being profiled. I come here and almost always spend $50+ and probably would’ve spent even more had I not been made to feel so unwelcome. There’s too much competition in the city to not have the employees here posses basic customer skills. Very horrible experience.

Customer service sucks! I was given a refund because I asked for the same respect of receiving my money in my hand like I gave the employee… The owners responded with this: Hi Mr. Israel- I've noted these messages and also the review you left on our google business profile. While I can understand your preference to have change handed directly to you, I support my employees in their reactions to your demands. You already receive preferential pricing, and prior to your visit this weekend, I was already aware of your treatment of my employee Blair on November 15th. These are front-line retail workers and are entitled to a safe work environment that is free from abuse from customers. I support Trey's decision to notify you that you are not welcome to shop at Grass Roots. I wish you well in the future, and I hope you are able to find your products at other stores in our area.
