Breakwater Treatment & Wellness is much more to me than just a place I go for to get my medicine, Breakwater is a place I go to for Top Shelf High Quality Medicinal Rx Cannabis to help me with my medical ailments to which I suffer from quite a few. Breakwater meets my needs & often exceeds them. The environment is entirely professional with Double MMRx ID checks, a very informed staff that can answer any questions you may have about their products at an advanced & in depth level that can not be found elsewhere, I’ve lived in Colorado in 2019 & I hadn’t found such professionalism. They take proper protocols with storing their concentrate like freezing them so you never have issues with improper packaging or leaks etc. Another amazing product they offer is their MCT tinctures, which are outstanding & I’ll let you figure out what those are for yourself, I honestly cannot say enough good things about Breakwater, when I want unmatched high quality product that I know I will be satisfied with from flowers, to concentrates, to tinctures, to edibles, I know I will leave satisfied. Breakwater is worth your time, your support & your trust. They will take care of you & you will not be unsatisfied. First time customers get amazing discounts as well. I Will continue to make the weekly two hour round trip to come here for Medicinal Cannabis needs, & plan to watch them expand as a company over the years. If you have not been to Breakwater & you are a qualified MMRx patient & current cardholder, you are missing out on the best Medicinal Cannabis & Concentrate The State of New Jersey has to offer, I am fairly confident that others will kindly agree with this as well. 12/10

Breakwater has the best flower hands down, not even a question. Their customer service is also commendable. I was a weekly customer for well over 6 months and not once was I disappointed in the quality. However, given both the economic climate and lobbyism making NJ the only legalized state where homegrown marijuana can land you in prison; it would be nice to see Breakwater take some initiative. The prices are VERY high, and I understand business is business, but maybe a rewards program overhaul should be considered. As it stands, you have to spend $1000, to receive just $50 off, which doesn’t even cover an 1/8th. I don’t think that’s very rewarding, especially to medical patients. Would it kill the bottom line to spend let’s say $300 and get a free 1/8th? I’m not an economist, but i’m sure rewarding your most frequent customers will only lead to them coming in more often. For reference, this collection I have on my desk for some reason, of 46 jars (approximately 2 per week) cost roughly $2500 (5% of the average NJ salary), making a years supply of a singular 1.0 gram joint a day, a whopping 10% of the average NJ salary. This also means that just 2 of those jars collected in 6 months were discounted -$50… 2 out of those 46… That said, **Breakwater has consciously chosen to ignore this issue in pursuit of profits. My review on the Roselle location received the generic copy and paste response that others far less detailed and considerate reviews. Remember that Breakwater is a business, and even if the staff may care, THE OWNER DOES NOT. I spent $$$ thousands of dollars at Breakwater and couldn’t even get an email or some kind of formal acknowledgment that they would look into a solution. Breakwaters initiative is to make money not provide a fair service to medical patients and their lack of compassion should be deeply considered by potential shoppers.*** But… Until Home Grow (which you should publicly advocate for) any patients who find themselves in need of cheaper medication, ***DEAL SURF***. There are deals everyday, and even if the distances between dispensaries may be far you can find crazy deals like I have the past two months. Like a $12 (.5 gram) Resin Cart from a well known dispensary in Bloomfield, (if you google dispensaries in that area it will be first). But anyway, shop around and look for what’s on sale and you’ll be surprised! Cheers! To the owner: It’s a shame you didn’t take any reasonable action after I first addressed these issues. However, I know you saw the news recently about the push for home grow in our Garden State. I hope you cling on to every dollar you profit off of sick patients for the next year because after that it’s all over. We will get home grow, and you will no longer be able to take advantage. I personally know cancer patients who cannot afford your medicine, simply due to your insatiable appetite for profiting off of MEDICAL PATIENTS. It’s disgusting, it’s vial, it’s greedy, and truly, may God have mercy on your soul.

Update: 2023 and this is still the best cannabis in the country IMO. Prices have started to come down in the state and the $75 off an ounce and stackable deals make BW worth it. I’m glad they have a loyalty program but I wish that ounce discount was permanent. I wouldn’t shop anywhere else if that was the case. (2 hour round trip when I could just go to local dispo and save money)
