Anacostia Organics is a minority woman-owned medical cannabis dispensary in South East Washington DC. AO is the first cannabis business to become a DSLBD Certified Business Enterprise (CBD) in the District of Columbia. We are dedicated to bringing our patients top quality medicine east of the river!
All the staff was so helpful and nice. We really felt like family like the owner said we would. Best out of town weed buying experience ever, we are from New York and usually encounter some problem or hitch when trying to buy weed when we travel. Anacostia removed all the red tape and rolled out the red carpet.

they are constantly changing their hours without notification and have wasted my time going up there on multiple occasions. Call ahead. Or waste your gas. Today I DOUBLE checked and the website said that even with street closures they would be open. I arrive and they have JUST closed right before 5pm now I have to go all the over to CANNABLISS which will be my dispensary unless it's an emergency.

A friend has been recommending Anacostia Organics for some time and yesterday I had the opportunity to stop by. The staff, including the owner herself, was very welcoming. Upon arriving someone immediately assisted me with retrieving my documents and getting me set up. Their selection for product (edibles/tinctures, salves) is minimal and they have a decent selection of flower. Hopefully they’ll add some additional products (drinks, chocolate, teas, more flower options etc). My visit to Anacostia Organics was definitely worth not having to drive 30 mins into the city to other dispensaries if you’re closer to this side of DC. I’m giving 4 ⭐️ and not 5 only because I asked for a recommendation but it was oos. I will be back indefinitely 💚
